We're proud to be an active participant in making Cranbrook a great place to live, work, and grow. Through our Community Care initiatives, we support local charities, organizations, and events that make a positive impact. From sponsoring community festivals to organizing fundraisers, our goal is to give back and help foster a strong, vibrant community. Stay up to date with our latest events and see how we're making a difference together!
Since 2013 Cranbrook Dodge has supported the annual Cranbrook Eagles Boxing Club Charity Challenge, this event is still running today and the club has raised 100's of thousands of dollars over the last 10 years for the local community and families in need. Not only has the dealership supported this valuable event we have had staff members participate in the event and put on the gloves to help raise money and awareness, Stacey Fabiano had an amazing fight and won her bout, Steve Mercandelli has fought numerous years and when he isn't fighting he is officiating.
Steve is a glutton for punishment and again in 2013 he agreed to have his legs shaved alongside Ken Bridge from Bridge interiors and Derek Kortschaga from 2day FM Radio station, this fundraiser was to help raise money and awareness for the East Kootenay Friends For Children.
Then in 2014 the rivalry between Ken Bridge and Steve Mercandelli grew further when they put on the cowboy boots and chaps and agreed to ride a bull for the Kimberley Dynamiters fundraiser the Dynamiters Bull O Rama, and yes folks they were real bulls!!
Back in 2021 the team at Cranbrook Dodge worked hard raising funds for the Foundry East Kootenay, the funds were to help get the building built for the Foundry Foundation that is an amazing place for youth with mental illness to get help, in January 2022 the team was happy to be able to donate $10,000.00.
For years now Cranbrook Dodge has been involved locally in the amazing cause the Cops For Kids, over the years staff members have been arrested (just for fun) and they go a temporary cell where they are held on funny and bogus claims and they are asked to raise bail to get out, all the bail money goes to helping children in crisis, we have held numerous events to help raise money for this charity and Steve was fortunate to be invited to join the ride back in 2023, the ride is almost 1,000 kilometers starting in Kelowna and working there way through the South East Kootenays and they end back in Kelowna, this event is so memorable as the riders get to meet the children and families along the way that have benefited from the cause.
